Schedule:  Swim Academy begins Thursday, November 2nd and will practice every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday
Time: 5:30pm-6:30pm
Age: 18 & under
Fee: $50/month

About: The TSA program will focus on getting individuals swim team ready! Swimmers will have the opportunity to improve and perfect their competitive swimming skills through a coach led practice.

Must have passed level 5 swim lessons OR can independently swim the length of the pool without issues AND must know the basics of freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly as well as the basics of diving. (Looking for knowledge of these skills does not mean they have to be perfect we just ask that they know them/have experience swimming them.

Before enrolling we highly recommend either taking level 5 swim lessons and passing or showing your skills and being able to perform a 50 freestyle, 25 backstroke, 25 breaststroke and 25 butterfly (These are skills taught in level 5 along with diving). This is beneficial so you can get the most out of the training.

TAC offers group swim lessons as well as private and semi-private lessons taught by certified instructors.

On October 24th, 26th and 27th we will do drop-in practices, paying a drop-in fee of $3, where potential swimmers and parents can come in and get a feel for what practices will look like prior to signing up for the first month.
● 2 days of practice (Tuesday & Thursday) will be skills practice. Main focus is improving skills and building one's knowledge of swim strokes through drills, technique work, and drylands. 1 day of practice (FRIDAY) will be endurance focused and/or speed focused.
● Starting out: There won’t be any novice/advance separation by hour, (if we see our numbers grow and need to add an extra hour in, we can in the future).
