YOUTH SOFTBALL
About: The primary purpose of our softball program is to build a feeder program for the TUSD#202 middle school and high school in a competitive setting. Teams participate in a 10-game season outside of Turner, featuring weekly games and practices. Players are placed onto teams by multiple factors (school boundary, grade, and skill assessment if numbers permit). Games are played at Mid America West Sports Complex located at 20200 Johnson Drive Shawnee, KS 66218.
2024 SEASON IMPORTANT INFORMATION
- Registration runs from February 20th - March 4th.
- Age: 9-14 years of age
- Fees: Includes 10 games
- $137.00 per player
- Parents are responsible for hat, pants, socks, glove, batting helmet, and bat
- League play through Mid America West Sport Complex fields 21-32
- Practices begin in March
- League play runs from April- June
- Games Monday - Thursday
- No games on Memorial Day, Juneteenth or 4th of July
TO VOLUNTEER: TRC is looking for volunteer coaches and parents for our Youth Sports programs. If you are interested in being a coach, please fill out a coach's application today! Youth Coaches are required to pass a national background screening and attend scheduled coach’s meetings.
