Youth Basketball 5th & 6th Grade

About: TRC’s 5th/6th grade basketball program that will focus on skill development, concentration on fundamentals, progressive introduction to offensive or defensive schematics, introduction of internal competition, introduction of competitive play, and team play in a fun, safe, and healthy recreational sports environment.

Schedule

October 1^st - October 31^st: Early Registration $75
November 1^st - December 16^th: Regular Registration $95
December 2^nd: Coach's Meeting (6PM @ TRC)
December 9^th: Parent Meeting (6PM @ TRC)
January 2023: League play starts
Location: Practices – held in TUSD#202 schools except for all 1st & 2nd grade teams (1st & 2nd grade will utilize TRC’s gym – 1st grade will practice on Tuesdays nights & 2nd grade will practice on Thursday nights)

Fee: Fees include – reversible game jersey, officials pay, gym equipment/upkeep, game balls, 6 games & possible tournaments

$75 per child if registered by October 31^st

$95 per child if registered by December 16^th

Notes:

Parents Responsible for – shorts & practice ball
(1^st grade – size 25”, 2^nd grade – size 25”, 3^rd/4^th grade – size 27.5” & 5^th/6^th grade – size 28.5”)

TO COACH: TRC is looking for volunteer coaches and parents for our Youth Sports programs. If you are interested in being a coach, please fill out a coach's application today! Youth Coaches are required to pass a national background screening and attend scheduled coach’s meetings.
