After School Care
About: TRC’s after school care will be held at Turner Recreation Commission, located at 831 South 55th St. We are a licensed childcare facility program designed to care, entertain, educate, and enrich your child while giving you the peace of mind that your child is safe and having fun. During our program hours, your child will have a chance to develop character, receive homework assistance, participate in physical activity, and grow their minds through play.
How to Register for Before and After School Care:
Stop by the Turner Recreation Office located at 831 South 55th St. Kansas City, KS 66106 to pick up the After School Packet. Complete the packet to bring to the Turner Recreation Office.

- You will need a copy of your child’s immunization records.
- When the packet is filled out completely, you have a copy of your child’s immunization records and you have payment, please come to TRC to register your child for after care!
Hours of Operation: After School care begins at 3:00 PM until 6:00 PM. Parents will need to pick up their child from the main entrance of Turner Recreation Commission (unless posted otherwise).
Fees:
Full-time attendance: 4-5 days a week
Part-time attendance: 3 or fewer days a week
Part-time attendance: 3 or fewer days a week
After School:
Full-time: $185/month
Part-time: $125/month
Part-time: $125/month
